Flat Whisk

$30.00

A simple, traditional hand tool made for everyday work. This flat whisk is sewn and shaped to lie broad and even, allowing it to move smoothly across stone, brick, and hard surfaces where ash and dust settle.

Hand-bound using traditional Appalachian broom-making techniques, the flat whisk was a common, practical tool kept near the hearth and stove for steady, repetitive tasks. Its low profile and balanced shape make it well suited for sweeping wider areas with control and intention.

Humble by design and made to be used, this whisk brings a quiet sense of satisfaction to the small, often overlooked work of keeping house. Proof that even the simplest tools can offer pleasure in their use.

Care & Use

Use to sweep hearths, stove fronts, stone, brick, and other hard surfaces. Shake out ash and debris after use. Always hang by the leather hanging loop when not in use. Never store bristle-side down, as this can bend and weaken the broomcorn over time. Keep dry between uses. With regular work, the broomcorn will soften and wear naturally, becoming more responsive to the hand.

Materials: natural broomcorn, nylon twine, and leather hanging loop.

Dimensions: approx. 11”x5.5”x1.5”

Products ship on Mondays and Fridays each week.

No returns or exchanges accepted.
