Hawks Tail Whisk
A traditional whisk broom shaped for precision hearth and home work. The hawks tail whisk takes its name from its long, tapered form, designed to reach into corners, along stove edges, and into tight spaces where ash and dust collect.
Hand-bound using traditional Appalachian broom-making techniques, this whisk is a simple, dependable tool meant for everyday tending near the hearth and throughout the home. Humble in form and practical by design, it brings quiet satisfaction to the small, often overlooked tasks of keeping house.
Available in black, blackberry, and charcoal gray.
Care & Use
Use to sweep hearths, stove fronts, corners, and narrow or hard-to-reach areas. Shake out ash and debris after use. Always hang by the leather hanging loop when not in use. Never store bristle-side down, as this can bend and weaken the broomcorn over time. Keep dry between uses. With regular work, the broomcorn will soften and wear naturally, becoming more responsive to the hand.
Materials: natural broomcorn, nylon twine, and leather hanging loop.
Dimensions: approx. 11.25”x5.5”x1.5”
Products ship on Mondays and Fridays each week.
No returns or exchanges accepted.
